How to Restart Your Inverter if Overload
In the event that more power is drawn from your SOLAX Box than it can deliver it will shut down to self protect it from damage and display and error showing EPS Overload or Overload Current Protection. For more please read inverter restart steps linked here.
If this occurs follow the instructions in the video below to restart your inverter. If your inverter overloads again we recommend turning off all the breakers in your DB Board except for your lights and restart your system. Once your inverter has restarted bring back one circuit breaker at a time and eliminate the offending high load item.
Typical overload culprits are items with a heater, cooler or motor, ie water boost or borehole pumps.
The information provided by your SOLAX Portal App is dependant on your inverter having a connection to your local wifi router.
In the event that there is no data showing on your SOLAX Portal App or the SOLAX Web Portal in just the same way as you would need to connect your smartphone or tablet to your wifi network the same needs to be done with your inverter.
If this happens on a frequent basis we recommend installing a LAN Cable and hardwiring your inverter to your network.
Just like some smartphones or tablets need to be powered down and restarted from time to time to time the same is true for the Android Tablet in your SOLAX Box.
In the event of your SOLAX Box Screen display being blank please follow the steps below to reset it.
